Starting a personal training business and making it successful is a big challenge. Curtis Christopherson has been doing this for 25 years.

When he began, personal training was something only rich people, athletes, or famous folks could afford. He started small, with just one place. But despite tough times like the financial crisis and COVID-19, he's made his brand, Innovative Fitness, grow.

Curtis focuses on giving top-notch service in his 4,000 to 5,000 square foot gyms. They specialize in personalized fitness training for one or two people at a time.

Now, he has 17 locations, with 10 of them run by other people who bought into his idea. They're spread out from Vancouver to Toronto, two big cities in Canada.

Curtis hasn't just built a business, though. He's made a community, showing how dedicated he is to what he does.
