Why Kids Can’t Do Monkey Bars

From Samuel Circh's experience, kids are into both sports leagues and small group activities. Some kids he works with go on to play baseball or soccer. Others, especially those from a special needs school, are not ready for team sports yet.

His clients are a mix. Some are elite athletes who want extra training. Others just need a little more help. One problem he sees in many New York City kids is weak core strength. Playgrounds are safe and fun, but they do not build core strength well.

That is why many of his clients are kids who are not interested in traditional sports. They still want to get stronger and move better, just in their own way.
