Turning your business into a franchise isn't easy.

It's a journey that needs you to really know your brand, have a strong group of supporters, and a team that's totally committed. In 2003, Curtis Christopherson decided to expand his business to Seattle and Bellevue.

But he realized that the farther he went, the tougher it was to keep everything under control. He needed someone who cared as much as he did, someone who could be the face of his brand and make the community he dreamed of.

Surprisingly, he found these people among his own customers. They were folks who loved what he did, believed in his brand, and wanted to be a part of it.

So, his franchisees came from a mix of his own team and clients who had seen firsthand how great his brand was.
