In the world of franchising, it's often said that we're really in the business of relationships.
The bond between the franchisor and the franchisee is paramount.
When we converse with the franchisor, our primary objective is to lessen the amount of criticism they receive from their franchisees.
On the other hand, when we engage with the franchisees, our goal is to keep them empowered and creative, while still harnessing the strength of the brand they represent.
The reason they bought into the franchise concept was to avoid being a lone wolf on an isolated island.
So, we strive to integrate them into the fold and demonstrate the power of collective effort.
The basic platform, which is typically funded by the ad fund, is appealing to franchisees as they can see how the cool ads drive customers into their stores.
This platform is tangible, and they appreciate its use.
From there, all additional services are usually funded by the franchisee's local marketing budget.
This is the essence of our work, as explained by Chuck Goetschel.
