Not Knowing Anything Means You Can Learn EVERYTHING!

If you’re a new manager, you probably (actually no . . .you DEFINITELY) have a lot to learn.

That’s not a bad thing though, because now you have the unique opportunity to learn about everything right from the start. - What are the key projects you’re currently working on? - What are the deadlines? - What are the key metrics you’re measuring performance against? - What are the strengths and weaknesses of the team members?

Going into a venture with the mindset that you do not know everything, means you’re off to a great start. Acknowledging that there’s a lot to learn (and being willing to learn from your team!) is (one) of the hallmarks of a successful manager/leader.
