The fitness industry is changing fast, with big names like Planet Fitness, Peloton, and F45 leading the way.
Everyone wants to succeed, but going public means you have to focus on making money every three months, without much room for kindness.
For fast-growing companies, this puts a lot of pressure on how they do business. They might feel pushed to sell more franchises quickly or find other ways to make money regularly. Unfortunately, this can sometimes have bad effects on the industry.
But there's some good news too. When we worked with Orange Theory in Texas, we found that almost half of their members also belonged to another gym. This means there's a chance for gyms to work together and help each other out.
It's all about how you do things, though. With the right plan, any fitness company can do well in this changing world.
